Research Interests:

Pricing of network services. Pricing is considered as an important tool for improving performance and controlling congestion. Important issues include fairness in terms of resource usage, incentive compatibility of pricing schemes, and  the relation of pricing to actual resource usage

Basic research in resource allocation problems for broadband networks. Emphasis is given in developing approximation techniques based on large deviation asymptotics for the analysis of the performance of large networks and for the derivation of control rules for optimal resource allocation.

Formal methods for the specification and verification of concurrent systems with emphasis in systems with real-time and randomization: Development of efficient algorithms and tools for the verification of real-time systems such as computer communication protocols, asynchronous circuits, switching software. Real-time extensions of temporal logic and automata.
Other interests: Applied probability models and optimization, stochastic scheduling, network management.

Dissertations:

Ph.D. Dissertation: Conflict resolution among resource sharing processes.
